I am sure most of you are asking who is 'this' Cromwell .. well, he was sent by England in the middle of the 1600 hundreds to put 'manners' on the Irish, we were 'colonized' then and still are today. He was very 'willing' to do this because he wanted revenge on the Irish for 'rebelling' against the English 'landlords' and besides, he detested Catholicism. So off he went to Ireland on a rampage with his poorly-payed-army, mostly 'draftee's' and killed off 200,000 thousand [round off figures] out of a population of two million island people and then did his 'very best' to move the rest into the West of Ireland .. poor land and the Altaic ocean dictating the weather. In the 'six-counties', Northern Ireland, Cromwell is still the 'hero' to this day ... in the Republic we are 'looking' for Cromwell .. payback .. and so, Ireland 'sits' in Europe and nobody asks questions ... because the 'answers' are too embarrassing .....''
